Unofficial results from the Essex County Clerk’s Office on Election Day show Eric Scherzer as the top vote-getter with 8,676 votes, followed by Jada Roman with 7,962 votes and Holly Shaw with 6,520 votes as of 9:56 p.m. Six candidates vied for three seats.
