April Fool’s!

  1. It’s a good place. Always puts a smile on my face, kind of similar to how I feel when I’m strolling down Tunnel Exit Street in NYC. And I’m like totally serious here.

  2. I went there a few months ago and asked for the current stamp du jour. They didn’t have my first choice. They didn’t have my second. They had two books of stamps left, from 3 seasons prior and two different varieties.

  3. I like the Glen Ridge Avenue post office too.
I go there whenever I feel it’s been way too long since I’ve spoken to someone through bulletproof glass.

  4. April Fool’s!

I guess this means all the other articles are serious, which means we really are getting PinkyBurgers? Oh, good.

  5. Weird: bullet-proof glass at the Glenridge Ave. branch, but not at the Valley Road or the Watchung Ave. branches.

  6. Not weird at all, Montclair Lover. The USPS obviously thought this was the “slum ghetto” branch. Of course the joke’s on them, since many 4th Ward folks just go down the hill a bit to the very pleasant post office in Glen Ridge.

  7. I never go to the Montclair Glen Ridge Ave branch ’cause I hate going through the metal detector and showing my passport.

  8. Spiro….Keep the noise down on GR. We’re getting to much out of town traffic in our Mayberry downtown.
