A couple of weeks ago, it was a beautiful fall day. It was breezy, sunny and perfect to spend the day at Liberty State Park. We loaded up our car with the girl’s bikes (technically a bike and a trike) and headed to Jersey City–my hometown.

Just thirty minutes out of Baristaville, Liberty State Park offers perfect views of Lady Liberty. The girls rode up and down the waterfront, with a break at the playground in between. Families were picnicking, barbecuing and flying kites. It was a perfect day.

Liberty State Park is just across the road from The Liberty Science Center. You can plan an all-day trip and visit the center before your trip to the park.

  1. We’re going today…a long walk with my husband (my son runs a few miles while we stroll, talk and enjoy the view!) Now that the rain has finally stopped, we’ll appreciate this beautiful day even more!
