Obituary: Joseph Benjamin Lombardi
Mr. Lombardi served in the Army Reserve 50th Armored Division as a recon scout from 1969 to 1977. He was also a member of the National Guard shooting team and a highly accomplished marksman who won world championships and met royalty.

Montclair Police Officer Injured by Teen Suspect Resisting Arrest
During the struggle, the officer sustained serious lacerations to his head and face and was transported to University Trauma Center in Newark for treatment. The suspect, a 16-year-old male from Montclair, was charged with receiving stolen property, eluding, and resisting arrest.
