A reader writes in:
I just saw a scared, cold looking dog by my house at the corner of Northview and Summit. The dog was wearing a collar and ran off when I tried to check the tag. It was medium sized, and it’s fur is black with some white.It ran into my yard and then was gone by the time I put my daughter on the school bus. I am reporting it in case someone tells you they lost a dog. I did call the police to report it.

I saw a lost dog sign a few days ago around Watchung for a missing black and white dog named Poppy or something like that. No idea if it’s the same dog or not, but I think it was from around that same area.
