The High Kings and Mary Black

Mayo PAC (100 South Street, Morristown) presents a double bill of traditional Irish music on March 6! The High Kings, the true heirs of Ireland’s folk heritage, have been internationally acclaimed singers of Irish folk songs since they first arrived on the scene in 2008. Irish music legend Mary Black returns to the U.S. for the first time in nearly a decade, performing her classic songs that you’ve come to know and love over the years.


Cherish the Ladies

SOPAC welcomes the return of Cherish the Ladies, one of the most influential Celtic ensembles on the modern music scene, on March 7 at 7:30 p.m.! The Grammy-nominated outfit shares a storied Irish tradition through lyrical virtuosity, step dance, and creative storytelling.

Cloverleaf Tavern will host a week-long celebration beginning on March 9. Enjoy an Irish brunch, which continues throughout the week with food, music, and more!

The Shannon Rose in Clifton will host a St. Patrick’s Day Celebration for kids on March 8 and 9 beginning at 10 a.m. Enjoy bagpipers, step dancers, Irish music, a parade and more! Reservations are required.

Montclair Brewery (101 Walnut Street, Montclair) will host its annual St. Paddy’s Day Irie Festival on March 14 from 3–11 p.m. Irish people are the second-largest reported ethnic group in Jamaica! Enjoy Irish and Jamaica-inspired drinks all weekend. There will also be tons of games, delicious food on-site, and must-see live music performances.

Egan & Sons (116 Walnut Street, Montclair) is going all out for St. Patrick’s Day with a weekend packed full of festivities! The fun kicks off on Friday, March 14, with Karaoke in the Beer Tent at 8 p.m. On Saturday, March 15, test your knowledge at Trivia Night and take your chances in the Split the G contest. Sunday brings a fabulous twist with Drag Bingo Brunch at noon. Then, on Monday, March 17, the celebration reaches full swing with Egan & Sons’ 19th annual St. Paddy’s Day Family Festival, featuring Irish dancers, bagpipers, live music from The Counterfeiters, and DJ Bruce Ciccone. A beer truck and an Irish food festival, both inside and out, will keep the party going all day long. 


Fitzgerald’s 1928 (13 Herman Street, Glen Ridge) has a Kick-Off Party on March 14 at 8 p.m. with food and drink specials. On March 15, hang out on the patio or grab a seat inside and keep the weekend of festivities going. Weather permitting, games and kegs will be set up outside on the patio. And then on Sunday, March 16, enjoy Irish Coffee and Brunch starting at 11:30 a.m.. BINGO at 2:30 pm with Hey Jersey Entertainment. Prizes, and a special Sunday happy hour.

Faubourg (544 Bloomfield Avenue, Montclair) may be French, but they’re going green for St. Patrick’s Day weekend! Head to brunch on Saturday, March 15, through dinner on St. Patrick’s Day to enjoy green food and drink specials.

The annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration is on March 17 at Tierney’s Tavern (136 Valley Road, Montclair). Enjoy 500 lbs. of corned beef, traditional Irish music, bagpipers, and lots of Guinness!
