How do you make a living? OR What is your everyday passion? I’m the owner of Save & Rave Consignment Shop or SARC at 615 Bloomfield Avenue in the heart of Bloomfield Center. I also run Alonya Virtual Vintage with a passion for fashion and the arts. If you have a love for unique finds, SARC is your place! We sell New, Vintage & Gently Loved Clothing & Accessories for women.

Coffee, tea or … ? TEA!! But when living on the edge, a  Dirty Chai is my choice.

What’s your idea of a perfect weekend day? Being an Entrepreneur, my weekends are spent at SARC helping my clients add to their wardrobe while choosing sustainable fashion at a fraction of the cost.

What’s your favorite local restaurant? Casa de Flora Bar! This luxury cafe is the SPOT. They offer handcrafted drinks (like my dirty chai!), small bite salads, pastries, and fresh flowers  – all of which happen to be my favorite things. The decor and staff are amazing!

What’s on your nightstand? Kombucha, water, cellphone, and android watches

What are you listening to? Earn Your Leisure Podcast and SARC playlists that have a mixture of music genres. They are always jamming at the store, just ask our SARC crew!

What are your current indulgences? I indulge in the most decadent, artisan, hand-made ice cream from Kreme & Krumbs in Montclair.

What talent you would most like to have? I wouldn’t consider is a talent per se, but learning how to swim is on my short list of things to learn.

What’s the worst-kept (or best-kept!) secret about Bloomfield? Bloomfield Center is bustling with new and innovative small businesses. It is on the cusp of being something sought under the direction of the BCA (Bloomfield Center Alliance). Come shop small & local with us!

What do you hope they say about you at your funeral? I just want to be known for having a good character & good intentions!
