Montclair State University will host the state’s second gubernatorial debate of the 2013 election season at the university’s Alexander Kasser Theater on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 from 8-9:30pm ET (check local listings). The debate between Governor Chris Christie and State Senator Barbara Buono will be broadcast statewide on NJTV, New Jersey’s public television network. The 90-minute debate broadcast, entitled NJDecides 2013: The New Jersey Gubernatorial Debate, will be moderated by NJ Today’s managing editor and anchor Mike Schneider. The debate will be simulcast on the C-Span networks. It will also be broadcast in Spanish on Vme, the regional public television digital channel. A Spanish translation also will be provided via SAP. It will be rebroadcast by NJTV, THIRTEEN, WWOR-TV, C-SPAN Radio (XM Channel 119)and C-Span cable networks. (Today is the last day for the public to request tickets).
The debate will be livestreamed on the websites of Montclair State University, NJTV, C-Span, WBGO 88.3FM, WKXW 101.5FM, WNYC and WHYY/NewsWorks.org.
